Getting started

Cheaters are a constant nuisance to site owners.
TGP scripts have had partner accounts for gallery submissions
for a long time, but it seems trade scripts always lacked this,
and probably for a good reason; a gallery submitter has 1000 galleries,
but a trading webmaster used to have only 1-10 sites,
so there was no need to create a special account.
These days are over as more and more webmasters control large networks of sites.
Keeping a signup form open is an open invitation to trouble.
Any cheater who can successfully signup to a site will enable his network of hitbots
and send a lot of fake hits your way. The default settings for new trades won't matter;
a cheater doesn't know if you're capping new trades or not. You're stuck with the
bot trafic anyway.

Enter partner accounts. Both when the signup form is open or close,
a link will show up on your signup page for trusted trade partners.

By clicking the link a copy of the normal signup form comes up,
except there are 2 more fields, for the username + password.

Trades submitted by partners start off with different settings than everybody else.
To create a partner account go to menu -> trades -> accounts and fill out the
create new partner account form with the settings that you wish all new trades
of this partner to receive.

Directly below this form theres a list with the current accounts.

Click an account to edit or delete them.

In one of the upcoming versions of ATX you'll be able
to sync partner accounts over all your ATX installations.
